After school today, I found out that a teacher I work with attends a church where my friend used to be a youth director. Well, not only that, but her son had my friend as a youth director when he was younger, and he starred in a few of my friend's silly youth group videos. Unbelievable! It's a small world!
This new connection served to inspire a feeling of home in me at this school. It's nice to know that a place I just set foot in has connections for me that go years back.
